My name is Starresha Renae (she/her), you may know me as "The Curl Whisperer Of Chicago". I’ve been doing this hair thing for 12 years and yes, I still love it.

 

 I am a Level 2 Deva Curl Cutting and Pintura Trained Stylist, Cut It Kinky Alumni as well a Schwarzkopf Color Expert with a plethora of other curly hair and color trainings  under my belt. 

 

My specialty is tight curls, color and education. I try to educate my clients on everything that I know, and all that I know to better their hair experience at home.

• I enjoy all colors services whether we keep it soft and natural with browns and blondes, or bright with coppers, reds and fashion shades, I love big transformations and color corrections.  

• I enjoy collaborating when cutting, learning where you want to go and creating a plan to maintain health and length retention going forward, to achieve a specific look. I love a growth plan! 

• Im a healthy hair advocate, this means your hair’s integrity and care is my number one priority. I, thrive when I can evaluate a client’s hair and explain to them what’s needed to get to their end goal. I enjoy clients who care about their hair health first and esthetics last. Even if that means taking a step back to move forward on a healthy and happier Curl Journey.
